Parco di Veio

The essays gathered in the volume "Il Parco di Veio", deriving from the collaboration between the Park Authority and the study group "The Landscape as Historical Heritage" of the University of Rome "La Sapienza", describe the historical evolution of the territory and the evolution of the social landscapes in the Park area from ancient times to the contemporary age, with particular reference to the Middle Ages and the Modern Age. As a matter of fact, the study of such a long period has highlighted how the local identities of the various Park territories have given birth, throughout the centuries, to a unitary historical event.
