The Portofino marine Protected Area extends around the promontory of the same name among the municipalities of Camogli, Portofino and S. Margherita Ligure. It is a SPAMI and L-Ter Site, and it is divided into three zones: A, B and C, each of them with a different accessibility grade. The coast appears in all its charm: fascinating views and small inlets covered with the vegetation stroking the sea. Along the southern side there are underwater cliffs reaching very deep levels where a micro-habitat - which is rare for the Mediterranean area - originates.
