Limoncello and other Liquors

The traditionally homemade lemon liquors have made a reputation for themselves at a national level, to the extent that they have also been considered in the inflation estimate. In particular, the ones produced in Massa Lubrense take advantage of the excellent quality of their lemons.
Besides limoncello, several small firms, restaurant owners, and many private persons produce several kinds of rosolio. The most widespread ones are the myrtle (which is often called bilberries, although it has nothing to do with bilberries - the alpine plants), the wild fennel (from the leaves, seeds, or sterns of the wild fennel), the carob tree (in dialect sciuscella), the laurel, and the basil.
