Fishing is a very ancient activity handed down throughout the centuries; it is deeply rooted, to the extent that even today many young people devote themselves to it. In particular, small fishing represents the main activity of the coastal waters, a real source of employment and food supply, besides playing a relevant role from a social and cultural point of view.

Recreational Fishing

Recreational Fishing (DM no. 293 of 23/08/1999) is an activity which has experienced in the last years a considerable growth in the field of fishing and which has given the opportunity to many sea professionals to increase their economy mainly based on fishing, and to "return" to traditional techniques linked to the world of small fishing.
