The area includes Vallazza and the first stretch of lower Mincio up to Corte Gattamiscia. It includes areas characterized by a great richness of water species.
The great vegetation interest is given by the presence of sedge formations. It houses a rich aquatic bird population and is the traditional house of numerous colonies of the Ardeidae family.
