RomaNatura has entrusted the task to welcome visitors in the Reserve to co-operatives and associations linked to the territory. The task is performed through guided tours along nature trails and environmental education activities for the students of the schools in Rome. In 1999 and in 2000, thousands of persons visited the Reserves, often discovering that unexpected relaxing "islands" of country lying within the town were only a few steps outside their house.
There are already a number of refreshment areas which are situated in farmsteads and which are mentioned below.
