Landscape (photo by PN Teide)

Teide is the largest and oldest national park of the Canary islands. Its extraordinary landscape is among the most spectacular geological monuments in the world: volcanic cones and lava flows create amazing combinations of shapes and colours. Its rich biodiversity cannot be overlooked, too, thanks to the high percentage of endemic flora species and the significance of the invertebrate fauna.
