Paesaggio Naturale e Seminaturale Protetto Collina Reggiana - Terre di Matilde

The province of Reggio Emilia is crossed in a transversal direction by the via Emilia (SS 9), which runs from west to east. Parallel to the Via Emilia, the Autostrada del Sole (A1 Milan-Rome) connects Reggio Emilia to Milan (150 Km) and Bologna (60 Km). To reach the hills of Reggio Emilia and the "lands of Matilde", exit at the Terre di Canossa-Campegine motorway exit. Both from here and from the Via Emilia, the main and central access to the protected landscape area is via the SS 63 which connects Reggio Emilia to La Spezia in a southerly direction.

From those coming from the A22 of the Brenner, the nearest motorway exit is Reggiolo-Rolo.
