The middle and upper Val d'Enza is one of the most beautiful valleys in the entire Emilian Apennines. The environment unites its attractions to the conspicuous monumental heritage, largely linked to the memory of Matilde di Canossa. The heritage of the ancient villages is very rich, with the traditional stone houses. After the evocative clay gullies of Canossa, the environment becomes greener with the pine woods in the Tassobbio valley (below Crovara and Logoreccio).
