In the valley of the Fiumicello stream, immersed in places of great scenic beauty, there are the parish church of St. Bartolomeo and the castle of Paullo. The parish church, of Romanesque origin, preserves traces of its primitive construction, like the valuable carved capitals. The castle, which dates back to the XI century, occupies the upper part of a large isolated spire rising almost to the center of the Fiumicello river basin, and completely dominating the entire geographical area.
