Proposals for Schools 2011/2012

In order to answer this question, we should consider the growing need to safeguard the environment and the growing awareness that mere technical measures are not enough to solve problems that, sometimes, are the result of the bad habits acquired by individuals: these are the reasons on which the environmental education proposals by Astigiani Park Authority are based.
As a matter of fact, Astigiani Park Authority, through C.E.A. (Environmental Education Center of Astigiano Territory), offers proposals - through educational, promotional, and training measures - aiming at educating young people to the knowledge and conservation of the environmental and naturalistic heritage our territory is very rich in, as well as to the concept of sustainable development aiming at a conscious "use" of the territory and its resources.
The environmental education proposals are addressed not only to schools, but also to everyone interested in environmental issues. As a matter of fact, there are specific proposals for each age bracket, offering the opportunity to come at direct contact with the surrounding environment and to create a "healthy" moment of social life.
Besides the environmental education proposals it directly manages, the Park Authority also promotes the environmental education proposals offered by the Cooperatives and Associations operating within the local protected areas.
