The Park trail dedicated to guided visits for schools leaves from Certosa di Pesio and reaches Pian delle Gorre along a very easy itinerary (suitable also for pupils of the elementary schools), as an alternative to the asphalt road. Entirely signalled with trail markers and equipped with cases and panels providing naturalistic information, it represents the best approach to Valle Pesio and Tanaro Park.

Itinerary:
Leaving from the square of Certosa di Pesio, climb along Vallone di S. Bruno, whose name derives from the name of the founder of the Carthusian order.
Leave the dirt road after 200m and turn right on the trail leading to the first stop providing naturalistic information. Go ahead crossing the road of Vallone del Cavallo and a beautiful broadleaf tree wood. You will get to the picnic area Dompè, where you will find a fountain to cool down. From here you will walk along the Pesio forming beautiful marshy grounds and you will get to the picnic area Ardua, where you will find the surveillance hut of the Park Keepers.
At this point, the trail enters the silver fir wood uphill the road you will cross again after about 800m, when the trail begins again to run along the Pesio after crossing a bridge.
Go ahead along the dirt road for 1 km, and you will get to a junction. Here turn right and in about 20 min. you will get to the wildlife observatory, that is a large enclosure used for the reintroduction of the deer, where you can admire both the wall of Pis del Pesio and the slopes of Punta Mirauda. If you turn left, you will cross again the Pesio and walk along the stream Saut. After 2 small bridges, you will get to the beautiful clearing of Pian delle Gorre.
