Didactic Hall and Library
They are situated in the Park Head Offices, not far from Chiusa di Pesio, along the road leading to the Certosa. It is possible to consult or borrow more than 850 texts, among which books, degree theses dealing with naturalistic, didactic, and scientific issues, or magazines, periodical publications, seminar proceedings, conferences, and workshops, audiovisual material, slides. Moreover, it is possible to admire specimens of taxidermized animals and other collections.
Territorial Laboratory of Environmental Education
It is the only laboratory of the Network situated in a Park. It aims at drawing school and local cultural institutions nearer through the development of didactic programs related to the environment. It gives the opportunity to students and organized groups to use the didactic room equipped with microscope and giant-screen projector, copier, videocamera, a computer linked to the other labs of the Network.
Picnic Areas
They are situated in different points in the area more accessible to the Park, not far from the village of Carnino in the Upper Tanaro Valley, and they are equipped with tables, fountains, fire points, toilets, and notice boards.ù
Information Point
Open during the summer, it is situated in the large square of the Certosa di Pesio, and it provides information material on the Park and other protected areas.
Guided Tours
Hikes are organized in the Park areas. They are led by the Park keepers or by the naturalistic guides working for the Park Authority. Information on the costs and bookings: please call the Park Seat, from Monday to Friday (from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., and from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.).
Self-guided Tours
They give the opportunity to discover different environments and trees, flowers, and animals thanks to notice boards and descriptive panels.
Guest house
With 14 beds, toilets, and shower. Obtained from an old farmhouse, the building is provided with heating, kitchen, and dining-room.
Observation Huts
They are situated on the shores of Morozzo and Crava lakes and of the many ponds in the nature sanctuary. They give the opportunity to observe and recognize the different bird species populating the area, also thanks to illustrated panels.
Recreational Areas
Both within the Reserve and close to its entrance there are tables, benches for stops along the route, fountains, notice boards, and toilets.
Botanical Route
With the help of descriptive panels it is possible to improve your knowledge about the different species of trees typical of the plain and of the areas near the rivers.
Guided Tours
For information and bookings, please contact the Oasi (from Monday to Sunday) by calling the number 0174/587393. The visits are led by the Park keepers or by the LIPU members. It is possible to carry out visits on horseback with the help of environmental tourist guides on horseback (www.geem.it).
Archaeological Itinerary
This itinerary is equipped with information panels, and it leads to the self-guided discovery of the ancient Roman town of Augusta Bagiennorum, of its history, and of its most important buildings.

They are carried out by Centro di Archeologia Didattica e Sperimentale - ARCHEA (Italian text), which also suggests archaeodidactic and scientific routes, school holidays, summer archaeological camps. Forest Route
It goes through the Reserve and leads you to know the main arboreal species.
Visitor Center
The visitors are welcomed in Montezemolo in the new Park Visitor Center, where they can find an interactive route dealing with the life of honeybees and of the beehive.
Self-guided Tours
There are a sport path, equipped with gymnastic apparatus and descriptive panels; a 30-minute long tourist path running through the richest area in "Ciciu" and equipped with descriptive panels for the main arboreal species; a 2-hour long hiking path giving the opportunity to better visit the reserve and to reach the most panoramic points.
Picnic Areas
The entrance area of the Reserve is provided with tables, fountains, fire points, and toilets, while along the paths there are rest places with benches.
