The Trail of the Dragonflies has been named after the considerable presence of various species of dragonflies that can be easily observed along the trail.
Entirely developing along a dirt road, the trail is mainly dedicated to groups of students, but can be also appreciated by any kind of visitor. While creating the trail, we paid attention to its accessibility for people with disabilities, maintaining a constant width and reducing the excessive difference in height.
The critical stretches of the trail - like the observation point over the stretch of water and the crossing of the canals - are safe thanks to the presence of parapets. La Morta presents within it an island which, since it is not easily accessible and is characterized by some high-trunk trees, is ideal for the creation of an heronry.
