Alagna Valsesia is without a doubt the Municipality which is most interested by a great flux of tourists and hikers. For this reason, at Alpe Fum Bitz, at about 1,600m of altitude, Alta Valsesia Park has decided to build a visitor center. This structure, open during the summer, or by previous booking in other periods, represents not only an information point for the visitors who will have the possibility to collect here information and useful advice to visit the highest Park in Europe, but also an exhibit center presenting some of the issues regarding the protected area and its management.
Next to the visitor center, Alta Valsesia Park has created, in an area of about half hectare, a botanic garden where the main vegetable essences characterizing the protected area have found their place.
