Environmental Education from 5 to 14 years of age
Alta Valsesia Park in Regione Piemonte, established in 1979, lies between the 950 and 4,559m a.s.l., and is thus the highest protected area in Europe.
Thanks to its altitude range, it is a unique area rich in different environments and landscapes. Environmental education activities, led by authorized naturalistic tour guides, are dedicated to pupils and students, from kindergartens to middle schools. Such proposals aim at promoting their knowledge of the mountains, through an approach directly involving them with games and observations in the field, stimulating them to reflect on environmental issues.
