Product features
Fruit of the tireless work of the bee, honey is one of the most genuine existing products, since it does not need any treatment, either for its production or preservation. Among the local honey, obtained from the nectar of the flora characterizing our inland, there are: chestnut honey, acacia honey, heather honey, strawberry tree honey, and mixed flower honey.
The quality of honey varies according to the flora used by the bees. The color of acacia honey is light straw yellow, chestnut honey is amber colored, mixed flower honey has a lighter or a darker color according to the presence of honeydew. Also the taste varies: for instance, chestnut honey is more bitter than acacia or mixed flower honey.
