Educational and Didactic Activities
In the respect of sustainable development, the Park pursues throughout its territory of competence and its marine protected areas the correct knowledge of the ecological and biological resources of the territorial ecosystem. This represents the essential condition to determine and implement strategies aiming at preserving and rehabilitating the ecosystem and at avoiding the irreversible impoverishment of the resources for the future generations.
To this aim, the Park Authority promotes a series of educational and scientific research activities, also at an interdisciplinary level, aiming at the correct knowledge of the ecological and biological heritage of the territory and at sensitizing citizens towards the preservation of terrestrial and marine animal or vegetal species.
