In loc. Gaito, at the end of the asphalt road, trail 407 leaves next to the wooden panel and heads eastwards, entering a beautiful broadleaf tree mixed woodland and going ahead along a flat trail towards Valle del Gardellone.
The itinerary crosses then a branch of the torrent and, uphill, reaches the southern slope of Colle di Ranica cut in the mountain side, dominating loc. Fenile di Torre Boldone (panorama entrance Val Seriana).
