Education and Projects for the school-year 2023/2024
The school in a protected area is an essential resource which becomes an element of development in a complex system made of historical opposite interests, such as the productive and the conservative ones. The new scenery within which the policy of a protected area must act is defined by the policies of local sustainable development implying the preservation of the resources, without preventing their exploitation.The aim is to consolidate the interest towards the natural and cultural heritage in order to improve and enhance it; this is possible if in the future the protected areas will be integrated with the economical texture of the territory housing them.The role of the Park in this context must be active and direct: the population must be involved, by starting form a new and global approach in the school.For instance, through the participation in the formation of teachers and operators working in educational structures.The building of a naturalistic culture with an awareness of one's own territory as far as environmental and cultural resources are concerned is the essential condition of a real development.
