The trail starts in the centre of Melezzole, a medieval hamlet, whose street map was built in concentric circles. Take the asphalted road going southwards; at the quadrivial crossroads, take the gravel road on the right and go uphill to the junction of Santa Restituta and Mount Pianicel Grande. Go uphill towards the North, take the Montecchio trail leading to the top of M. Croce di Serra and M. Melezzole. Then walk downhill to M. Bocciolone, where you can stop and have a drink from the fountain. From here, take the gravel road, go past the graveyard of Melezzole, until you get back at the starting point.
