Start in Alviano, go towards Guardea, first on an asphalted road, then on an unsurfaced one. Along the way, you will enjoy the view over the Alviano Lake and the breathtaking sight of the valley surrounding it. Once you get at Guardea, follow the asphalted road towards Cocciano; after 1 km, along an uphill path, you will find the ruins of the old village of Guardea Vecchia. Go on along the asphalted road until you get at the so-called Piano dell'Osteria (the "Inn's Plain"), go past the Madonna di Fatima Church, take the road leading to an interesting hypogean site. Then take the uphill path leading to the Vallone del Lupo (the "Wolf's Gorge"), go downhill on the muletrack that runs along the Fosso Porcianese; after about 2 km you will get again into the gravel path that leads to Poggio S. Biagio. The asphalted road will lead you back to the starting point.
