• From Matera: reach the junction with exit Garaguso, Oliveto, Accettura or with exit Calciano.
• From Potenza: reach the junction with exit Accettura, Castelmezzano, Pietrapertosa.
• From the Jonica: reach the junction with exit Stigliano, Cirigliano, Accettura.
• The road SS 407 Basentana leaves from Sicignano (50 km in the north of Potenza) in connection with the homonymous exit of the highway A1 Salerno - Reggio Calabria. SS 407 Basentana ends in Metaponto (MT) on the Jonian Sea.
