Guidebook dedicated to the place names of Gad, Monfol, Beaume, and Auberges

The publication of this Cahier, made possible thanks to a contribution by Ce.S.Do.Me.O., Centro Studi e Documentazione della Memoria Orale di Giaglione (Study and Documentation Center of Oral Memories in Giaglione), guarantees the safeguard of the place name memory of a further section of the large territory of Oulx: the nearest area to the borders of Salbertrand and partly protected by the Park, and including the country hamlets of Gad, Monfol, Baume, and Auberges.
Thanks to the irreplaceable memory and collaboration of several people, approximately 570 place names, historical and scientific documents, anecdotes and precious period images have been collected to form this new and significant product of Colombano Romean Ecomuseum, "...able to bring back to life past generations of country hamlet dwellers who, with great effort, were able to positively shape the environment and the culture of these corners of the valley until the second post-war period...".
