The blue itinerary, from the Swiss Valais to Alpi Marittime, goes along a long stretch of the Great Traverse of the Alps in the territory of Piedmont.
In the territory of Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Park, the alpine itinerary consists of two laps:

• D37: from Levi Molinari Mountain Hut, the trail climbs to Colle Chabriere and then goes down to meet the asphalt road you will abandon near Eclause. Get to Salbertrand, cross the river Dora and take the trail GTA developing in the woods up to the mountain hut Arlaud (stop).
• D38: from the Mountain Hut Daniele Arlaud, follow GTA, leading across meadows and thin pines to Testa dell'Assietta. The large and easy mule track follows a rather flat stretch up to Colle dell'Assietta: here you will begin to descend along a trail which will soon become a mule track in Balboutet and get to Usseaux.
