Along the road of Exilles railway station, there are the indications to reach the houses of Brusà (1,135m), marking the lower border of the Park and the beginning of the Trail of the Franks. The trail climbs, with hairpin bends, among groups of old houses up to the summer mountain pasture Clot des Anes at 1,936m. For about 400m go along a stretch in common with trail 14, up to the rests of the old summer mountain pasture Jeunchatre. At 1,990m, the trail enters the Stone pine wood housing in the past the telegraphic line between the fortress of Exilles and the stronghold of Assietta. At the edge of the arboreal vegetation, a wooden trail marker marks the arrival of the trail 14 and, on the left, the way to reach SP road of Assietta and the homonymous hill at 2,472m.
