Following the road leading to Gran Serin, immediately before arriving at the summer grazing land Alpe Arguel, in the meadows on the right of the little church (1,961m) you will find the wooden trail marker indicating the beginning of the trail.
After crossing the basin of Rio Gran Comba - subject to landslides - you will abruptly climb among rocks and green alders, and then go down again to the road leading to the summer grazing land Clot des Anes (1,936m).
From this point, the trail will overlap trail no. 13. At the summer grazing land Jeunchatre, the two trails branch off. Trail no. 14 continues on the right among Stone pines and alders and gets to the grazing lands of Ruina (2,195m) where the homonymous valley opens, dominated by the eagle of Assietta pylon. The trail ends at 2,290m, along trail no. 13 which continues for 1.8 km towards the ridge.
