At Chenebiere Bridge you will find a stone commemorating a battle between Waldensians and French-Piedmontese army that was a decisive battle in the history of the Waldensian community.
This place is touched by the historical-cultural itinerary created for the 2006 Olympic Games by Gal Escarton and Valli Valdesi called "Le strade dei Valdesi - il Glorioso Rimpatrio". It follows the long walk of 1,000 men who left from the Lake Geneva on 17 August 1689, three years after the forced exile caused by the revocation of the Edict of Nantes, to reach their home valleys.
