 Established at different times, the two Grugnotorto Villoresi and Brianza Centrale PLIS have preserved the few remaining open spaces between North Milan and Central Brianza. Moreover, over the years they have begun a demanding ecological and landscape redevelopment of these spaces.
Woods, rows of trees, cycle paths, canals, public parks, ecological connections have sprung up. Improper uses have been removed, and environmental education activities have been supported. In December 2019, the two experiences merged to create the Grugnotorto Villoresi and Brianza Centrale - GruBrìa Park.
