Parco Grugnotorto Villoresi e Brianza Centrale (GruBrìa)

The Villoresi Canal longitudinally crosses the entire Park territory, and the towpath that runs alongside it represents an important connection within the Park and between the Park and other protected areas in Lombardy. Among the derivative canals fed by the Villoresi Canal, the Roggia S. Martino and the area adjacent to it (between the municipalities of Nova Milanese, Muggiò and Cinisello Balsamo) had undergone a redevelopment project in 2012, which brought the ancient derivation back into operation and created a wildlife corridor and a path connecting the three municipalities and the Villoresi cycle path.
