From Castelbuono, take the provincial road for San Guglielmo and, after passing the ancient Hermitage of Liccia, take the municipal road that leads to the Crispi refuge of the C.A.S. in Piano Sempria. In Piano Pomo, microclimatic conditions allow the hollies to grow in an unusual way, creating real woods. The large hollies, some of which are up to 20 metres high, grow all around the Piano Pomo basin, forming a sort of circle.
