Parco Naturale Regionale delle Madonie

A geological site in the municipality of Petralia Sottana, included in Geological Trail No. 2 with a rare Halobia fossiliferous deposit with open sea molluscs. The snail stone columns of the Petralia Sottana mother church were quarried from this site in ancient times. A natural climbing wall has been equipped on the front side.
