Parco Naturale Regionale delle Madonie

Geosite derived from a phenomenon of fluvial deepening, as a result of the evolution of the Madonie hydrographic network. The valley engraving of the waters has created a gorge that separates the village from the higher areas of the carbonate massif of Pizzo di Pilo. Furthermore, you can admire the steep detrital cones that characterise the canyon.
