Guided Visits

Guided visits for citizens, tourists, etc. are organized by the Park Authority.

It is possible to choose between a visit by bus giving the opportunity to discover all the features characterizing the Park or a visit on foot throughout only part of the territory.
The visits by bus for groups are organized for 30 to 33 participants. Participation fee: 10 Euros for adults - 5 Euros for children.

The trail leaves near Edificio Sali Scelti and continues towards Mt. Urpinu viewpoint. By bus you will travel along Perda Bianca pond and Cagliari salt basins. At Rollone dewatering pump, you will turn to Is Arenas sand quarries and go ahead to Bellarosa Maggiore pond, the Filter Ecosystem, and little beyond Bellarosa Minore. The visit includes stops for the observation of the flora and fauna at the Park green areas situated at the entrances of Cagliari and Quartu.
The visits on foot are organized for groups of 12 to 20 participants. Participation fee: 5 Euros per person.

The visit is carried out in the Park green areas, where it is possible to stop for the observation of the flora and fauna.

Guided Visits

In the Park by Bike

Cycling is one of the best ways to discover the routes of Molentargius Park developing across a territory of great naturalistic interest, as well as to discover the environment and its features without damaging flora, wildlife, and the environment in its various aspects.

In order to promote visits by bike, at Edificio Sali Scelti there is a bike rental service, from Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.

In the Park by Bike

Tours by Boat

The tour by boat leaves from the Dock of Edificio Sali Scelti (Via La Palma) and lasts about 45 minutes (10 passengers for each tour).
To reach the Dock, you can park the car in the car park for visitors (200m beyond Edificio Sali Scelti) and follow the inner route.
