Mont Barbeston stands out on the ridge dividing Mont Avic Park from the talweg of the central valley of Dora Baltea, dominating the towns of Châtillon and Saint-Vincent.
The panorama, despite the not considerable altitude, is wonderful thanks to the isolated position of the area and goes from the massif of Mont Blanc to Grand Combin, Cervino, Mt. Rosa, and to the surroundings of Ivrea.
