A snowshoe hike through fields of sinkholes and beech forests in the Abruzzo National Park.
Starting from the Forca d'Acero Pass, at an altitude of 1530 m, with a circular route we will cross the magnificent beech forest that borders the large clearings of Macchiarvana, Campo Rotondo and Campo Lungo from where splendid views open up on the surrounding peaks of Chiatra del Re, Monte Tranquillo and Marsicano.
The route develops gently and alternates forests with large open areas and allows even those who are not too expert in the mountains to savor the beauty of the snow-covered landscapes with the scent of trees and lichens, spotting the traces of the passage of wild animals in the woods.
