New Year's Eve snowshoe hike with a toast at the summit
A different way to celebrate New Year's Day: a beautiful hike to the summit with snowshoes with a toast at high altitude to admire the magnificent scenery of winter nature in the mountains, breathe pure air and welcome the new year.
From Passo del Diavolo, with the guide, we will climb Monte Turchio, at an altitude of 1900m, to see a 360° panorama slowly open up before our eyes: the view extends all around over the entire Abruzzo, from the Fucino riverbed to Sirente, Velino, Gran Sasso and Majella, to the mountains of the Abruzzo National Park with its Unesco forests, the Monti della Meta, Petroso and Marsicano.
The fun of moving with snowshoes on your feet, being in company and toasting together will make us spend a pleasant and somewhat unusual New Year's Eve among the beautiful snow-capped mountains of the Abruzzo National Park.
