Beyond the Living Lake: Snowshoeing in Valle Lunga

Extraordinary winter landscapes in the heart of the wildest mountains.

Wednesday 5 March 2025 from 09:00 to 17:00

A truly spectacular snowshoe hike to fully enjoy the magical winter landscapes.

Valle Lunga is a large karst plateau that extends from 1800 to 2000 meters above sea level between Mount Tartaro and Mount Altare, in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park. The vastness of the spaces, the setting of the peaks of Tartaro and Altare, the magnificent beech forests that you cross to reach it and the large presence of fauna, evidenced by the tracks that can be read in the snow-covered territory, make Valle Lunga a place of great emotions.
