On the Bear's Paths

Bearwatching in the Abruzzo Park.

Saturday 5 April 2025

Afternoon hike with return at night and wildlife watching dedicated to the bear.

An excursion dedicated to the Marsican Brown Bear, emblem and symbol of the Abruzzo National Park, in whose territory, in a few dozen specimens, it lives free and wild. We will walk in the areas most frequented by the bear, observing traces and signs of presence, learning about its behaviors and habits, and we will take advantage of the evening hours to try to spot it in full respect of the animal, without causing disturbance, for one of the most beautiful emotions that nature can give.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Experience a real nature observation session with the real chance to see the bear free in its natural environment
  • Learn how to use the guide's binoculars and professional equipment
  • Follow your guide's explanations and stories, and learn about the bear and the environment in which it lives.
  • Enjoy the light of the sunset from an exceptional vantage point and experience the thrill of returning at night from the observation site
