Information Point on Turtles and Cetaceans
At the Park's Environmental Education Centre in Stagnali (Island of Caprera), the "Information Point on Turtles and Cetaceans" will be open to visitors from 6 April to 30 September.
Through guided tours entrusted by the Park to the Isule Cooperative of La Maddalena, Elena and Irene will accompany you to discover the world of sea turtles and cetaceans.
On-screen videos, listening to sounds, noises and vocalisations of cetaceans, photographs and mysterious tactile experiences enhance the exhibition space.
The audience can also admire a sperm whale skeleton that the Park, in collaboration with the University of Padua, has recovered and exhibited as a warning against plastic ollution.
In the stomach of "Romantica", the female sperm whale that ran ashore in 2019 with her calf on her lap, 22 kg of plastic was recovered, part of which is on display at the Information Point.
We therefore look forward to seeing you from 6 April 2023 to 30 September, on Thursdays and Sundays, from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
In September only, the opening hours will not change, while the Information Point will be open to the public on Saturdays.
