Parco Nazionale dell'Arcipelago di La Maddalena

The village of Stagnali, in Caprera Island, houses the most important visitor center of the Park, that is the Environmental Education Center (CEA), including the Park Museums and other interesting tourist structures where past and present, history and nature, culture and tradition blend in a fascinating marriage. The implementation of the activities promoted by the associations operating inside the former military barracks, renovated by the Park Authority over the years, has been made possible thanks to the investments of the Park Authority and its will to preserve the cultural heritage for the future.

Inside the CEA there are:

• The Museum of the Sea and of the Sailors' Traditions
• The Naturalistic Geo-Mineralogical Museum
• The Information Point on Turtles and Cetaceans
