The ' beginning of the path that climbs to the Poggio Stefano, Caprera second summit of the ridge, it is met with along the paved road that connects the lower part of the pine forests of Caprera , the fortification of Arbuticci , north of the island. As there is no rest area near the start of the path, you can park either at the foot of the Arbuticci fortification or Mount Tejalone.
