You reach the entrance of the path , leaving the car at the crossroads at the foot of the Arbuticci fortification , going down the initial stretch of the fire trail that ends near Cala Garibaldi. At the first crossroads on the right begins the simple itinerary for Cala Caprarese which is accessed by crossing the Pian delle Spugne , under the sparse pine forests, impoverished by the passage of fire in the late 1980s.
