Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona, Campigna

The road, which from the Savio valley climbs up to the Mandrioli pass and connects Romagna with Badia Prataglia, runs along the very noticeable outcrops of the Marnoso-Arenacea that in the most spectacular point is called "Scalacce"; here we observe the rhythmic alternation of yellow-beige sandstones and light grey marl.
