Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona, Campigna

The small town of Moggiona stands on a rocky spur in the middle of a closed valley, at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. The origins of Moggiona are similar to those of other pre-Roman centres, characterized by an inhabited nucleus located on a hill and located along the main communication routes to defend mountain pastures.
