Parco Nazionale del Gargano

A herd of Podoliche cows grazing in the Gargano area is a show which cannot be forgotten. Their straight silhouette, their glance, their big horns, their gray coat shining in the woodlands and in the Mediterranean maquis inspire sacred peacefulness. However, admiring them is one thing, breeding them another. With their milk you can produce excellent cheese, including Caciocavallo Podolico. But Podoliche cows produce only a small quantity of milk.
