The itinerary leaves from the charming village of Eau Rousse (in French "red water", for the characteristic ferruginous local water); after crossing Torrent Savara and the valley bottom summer grazing lands, follow an uphill trail in a wood of larches and spruce firs, where the beauty of some tree specimens should not derail us from observing the signs of the presence of the local inhabitants, from the squirrel to the black woodpecker.
