The itinerary leaves from Balzo, housing Montegallo Town Hall, and develops among the other small country hamlets which seem to disappear in the landscape dominated by the imposing eastern summit of Mt. Vettore (2,476m), the highest summit of Sibillini, once called the "workshop of the clouds" because of the sudden weather changes characterizing its summit.
