Path: Lago del Fiastrone - Grotta dei Frati - Monastero (335 - 336 - 341)
At first the trail descends gently to the impressive Gole del Fiastrone, a gorge carved out by the river over the centuries, and then the route continues in a steep ascent to the other side of the valley. From here, with a little detour, you can visit the Cave of the Friars (Grotta dei Frati), an atmospheric hermitage made by Clareni monks dating from the year one thousand.
