In the new museum the themes offer visitors, through an interactive and multimedia technology, a view of the Park's villages, of its protected areas' flora and fauna, of the handmade and wine-and-food products, of its water heritage - lakes and rivers - and of the use of renewable energy resources (photovoltaic systems, solar-thermal systems, biomass).
The visit to the museum ends with an in-depth analysis of the multiple use of waters and especially on the hydroelectric use of the lakes. Within this context it must be highlighted that at about 2 km far from this new Visitor Center there is the dam of the Ampollino lake, characterized by a remarkable environmental beauty and visual majesty.
